Prey Expectations

Lucas Davenport has left the BCA. He has no badge, and no
authority, but he still carries a gun. He knows that whatever comes next, he'll
need it.
Still, when Scotland Yard asks for his assistance, he's not sure how to
proceed. London is one of the largest cities in the world, and one that's
completely unfamiliar to Lucas. But the world of crime is one he's all too
familiar with, and one that he can never fully leave behind.
But this case is different: One of the principals is already serving time
in one of the harshest and most unforgiving prisons known to man
Australia. The other is an innocent whose only crime was being in the wrong
place at the wrong time a decade earlier. Their intertwined fates cross social
boundaries that Lucas never knew existed... until now.
With the kind of writing that leaves readers yearning for the next weekly
installment, it's no wonder The London Times calls this "A work of
fiction that shall appeal both to the lowest of our classes and also to
gentlemen of more noble blood."
